Fans of '1000-lb Sisters' are excited to see Amy Slaton Halterman return to the small screen, as many have been wondering what she has been up to since Season 3 concluded. The mother of two has done an excellent job of keeping followers up to date on social media. While fans were skeptical if Amy would return for another season of 1000-lb Sisters, Amy is eager to return to TLC.
Amy held her own in the last season of '1000-lb Sisters,' despite her expanding family and cranky sister, Tammy Slaton. Amy is a proud mother to her son, Gage Halterman, on whom she lavished attention. Fans could see the TLC actress was doing everything she could to aid her extended family while raising a child. Amy had several difficult chats with Tammy during Season 3 of '1000-lb Sisters,' as she was concerned about her health. Amy qualified for her gastric bypass surgery during Season 1 of '1000-lb Sisters,' and she has since kept fans updated on her weight loss.
Amy's most major event since the end of '1000-lb Sisters' Season 3 was the birth of her second son, Glenn Allen Halterman. Amy and her husband, Michael Halterman, were overjoyed to announce the addition of a new member to their family in July. Glenn weighed barely 5 pounds and 11 ounces when he was delivered by C-section. Amy posted a photo of her child measuring 17.5 inches on Instagram. Amy has been clicking images and posting updates on both of her children for followers to view since then.
Amy has been having a lot of fun with her Elf on the Shelf as the holidays approach. Fans of '1000-lb Sisters' have enjoyed the regular updates with Dobby, who appears to be amusing Gage and baby Glenn. Amy has also made time for her husband Michael after the season ended. In October, the two were caught out on a date night at a Josh Turner event. Despite the stresses of everyday life, Amy has made her marriage a priority.
Amy is raring to go for Season 4 of '1000-lb Sisters'. Her pregnancy with Glenn will be one of her primary storylines, as will her experience chasing after a toddler. Amy would concede that she has a long way to go before she can become a healthy mother. Tammy Slaton, her sister, will join her for the next season, which will premiere on TLC soon.
According to People, Slaton married Caleb Willingham on Saturday, Nov. 19 at the Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Gibsonburg, Ohio. The sisters, who have both struggled with their weight, starred on "1000 Lb. Sisters" on TLC where both sought weight loss surgery. Amy was able to lose the weight required for the surgery but Tammy struggled and was never medically cleared to have it.
Her heaviest weight, 717lb, aired on 1000-lb Sisters season 4 before she burst into tears at the scale numbers. Since then, though, Tammy has been undergoing an extreme weight-loss journey and looks significantly different. 041b061a72
