Flow Sensor Ifm St0570 Datasheet .pdf.iso

iso 7 cleanrooms, also known as class 200 cleanrooms, can be modular or soft-walled and have a maximum particle count of 200,000 particles (1 um) per cubic foot of interior air. they are required to have hepa filtration coverage over 6-10% of the area and provide a minimum of 20 air exchanges per hour with air flow rates of 10-20 cfm per square foot. such facilities are required to be certified by a third party test laboratory.

the principle of operation of the filter is the filter cycle. the air velocity is the driving force of the filter cycle. the air enters the filter through a single inlet. the air is then filtered by the filter media and passed through the outlet. the filter media is designed to remove contaminants from the air. the filter media is the most important part of the flow sensor because it is responsible for providing long-term service life and high filtration efficiency.

the flow sensor was developed by young li, and the first prototype was completed in april of 2003. the flow sensor is based on the principal of flow velocity measurement. the flow sensor has no moving part and can be installed easily in various locations to measure the air flow in environments with low air velocity. the flow sensor was subsequently adapted to the international iso/dis 12944 standard, as well as international drinking water standards ip68 and oiml r49.

mishima hirosaki co. ltd. began to design and develop the flow sensor in june 2003 and produced the first flow sensor in january of 2004. the flow sensor was awarded the smarts-2003 invention prize. the flow sensor is widely used for the measurement of air flow in cleanrooms and can be used in a variety of industries including pharmaceuticals, electronics, semiconductors, and metallurgy.
